- 1 medium head of green cabbage
- 4–6 cloves of fresh garlic
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or parsley)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Prepare the cabbage by removing wilted leaves and cutting it into 1-inch thick slices.
- Mince the garlic and mix it with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each cabbage slice generously with the garlic mixture.
- Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and roast for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Finish with a sprinkle of fresh herbs, if using, right after they come out of the oven.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For added flavor, you can substitute olive oil with avocado oil. Adjust the amount of garlic according to your taste.
