Description

Buttery and flaky cinnamon twists made from crescent roll dough, perfect for a cozy breakfast or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 tube of crescent roll dough
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent dough onto a clean surface.
  3. Melt the butter in a small bowl.
  4. Combine the sugar and cinnamon in another bowl.
  5. Brush the melted butter over the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Cut the dough into strips (about 1 inch wide) and twist each strip.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

These twists are best enjoyed warm and can be drizzled with icing for added sweetness.
