Description

Delightful buttery croissants filled with succulent shrimp, garlic, and fresh herbs, perfect for family gatherings and special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Croissant dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 lb shrimp (fresh or frozen, peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley or dill (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the shrimp filling: In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Toss in the shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Season the shrimp, sprinkle in herbs, and add lemon juice. Stir and remove from heat to cool.
  4. Assemble the croissants by rolling out the dough, cutting it into triangles, and placing a spoonful of shrimp filling at the base before rolling up.
  5. Bake the croissants on a lined baking sheet, brushing the tops with melted butter. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm, with an extra squeeze of lemon if desired.

Notes

Ensure not to overstuff the croissants for best results, and let them cool slightly after baking to enhance flavors.
