- 1 package crescent roll dough
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the crescent roll dough by laying it out flat and pinching the perforations together.
- Spread the melted butter generously over the dough.
- Mix together sugar, cinnamon, and salt and sprinkle evenly over the buttered dough.
- Roll the dough tightly from the long edge into a log.
- Slice the log into 1-inch thick rolls.
- Arrange the rolls close together in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for icing.
- Drizzle the icing over the rolls after they cool slightly.
Notes
These rolls can be frozen before baking. Wrap tightly and thaw overnight in the refrigerator before baking.
