Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the crescent roll dough by laying it out flat and pinching the perforations together.
  3. Spread the melted butter generously over the dough.
  4. Mix together sugar, cinnamon, and salt and sprinkle evenly over the buttered dough.
  5. Roll the dough tightly from the long edge into a log.
  6. Slice the log into 1-inch thick rolls.
  7. Arrange the rolls close together in a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for icing.
  10. Drizzle the icing over the rolls after they cool slightly.

Notes

These rolls can be frozen before baking. Wrap tightly and thaw overnight in the refrigerator before baking.
