- 2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup bok choy, chopped
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken by cutting it into bite-sized pieces and mixing it with soy sauce, black pepper, ginger, and garlic for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the marinated chicken and sear until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Incorporate bell peppers and bok choy, cooking until just tender.
- Thicken the sauce by mixing cornstarch with water, then stir it into the pan and cook until the sauce clings.
- Serve hot over rice or stir-fried noodles, garnished with fresh herbs or green onions.

For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with tofu or shrimp. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
