Description

A fiery and flavorful dish that combines tender chicken with aromatic spices and vibrant vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless chicken (breast or thighs)
  • 2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup bok choy, chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken by cutting it into bite-sized pieces and mixing it with soy sauce, black pepper, ginger, and garlic for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the marinated chicken and sear until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Incorporate bell peppers and bok choy, cooking until just tender.
  5. Thicken the sauce by mixing cornstarch with water, then stir it into the pan and cook until the sauce clings.
  6. Serve hot over rice or stir-fried noodles, garnished with fresh herbs or green onions.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with tofu or shrimp. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
