Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 slices bacon or 2 sausage patties
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pancake batter by mixing pancake mix, maple syrup, and eggs in a bowl until just combined.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat, adding a small amount of butter.
  3. Pour dollops of batter (1-2 inches in diameter) into the skillet to form mini pancakes.
  4. Cook pancakes until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  5. Place a small piece of cooked bacon or sausage and a pinch of cheese on each pancake immediately after flipping.
  6. Stack the McGriddle Bites on a platter and serve warm, drizzling with additional maple syrup if desired.
