Description

A delightful breakfast dish featuring flaky crescent rolls filled with scrambled eggs, cheese, and vibrant veggies.


Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or pepper jack)
  • 1 cup assorted vegetables (bell peppers, spinach, mushrooms, asparagus)
  • Fresh herbs (chives, parsley, or parsley)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg for egg wash (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Scramble the eggs in a skillet over medium heat, adding salt, pepper, and herbs.
  3. Stir in chopped veggies and cook until softened.
  4. Unroll the crescent dough, separating it into triangles, and arrange them in a circle on a baking sheet.
  5. Spoon the egg and veggie mixture onto the center of the dough circle and sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Fold the pointed ends of the dough over the filling to create a ring.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  8. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

For a shiny finish, brush the dough with egg wash before baking.
