- Soak the ladyfingers: Dip each ladyfinger into the cooled espresso briefly.
- Layer the ingredients: In a dish, alternate layers of soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
- Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Dust with cocoa: Just before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
- Garnish (optional): Add chocolate shavings or cinnamon if desired.
