Description

A delightful twist on the traditional tiramisu, layered with fresh strawberries and creamy mascarpone.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups ripe strawberries, sliced
  • 1 package ladyfinger biscuits
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cocoa powder for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Prepare your espresso and let it cool.
  2. Beat the mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla until light and creamy.
  3. Wash and slice the strawberries.
  4. Dip each ladyfinger briefly in the cooled espresso.
  5. Lay half of the soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a dish.
  6. Add half of the mascarpone mixture and half of the sliced strawberries.
  7. Repeat the layers.
  8. Sprinkle cocoa powder on top for garnish.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least four hours, preferably overnight.

Notes

Use the ripest strawberries for the best flavor. Avoid over-soaking the ladyfingers to maintain their texture.
