Description

Sopapilla Cheesecake Bars are a delightful fusion of creamy cheesecake filling and buttery pastry, infused with cinnamon and sugar, creating a warm and comforting dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) of Cream Cheese
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) of Crescent Roll Dough
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare your baking dish by lightly greasing a 9×13-inch pan.
  3. Roll out half of the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared dish.
  4. Beat together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spread the filling evenly over the crescent roll base.
  6. Place the remaining crescent roll dough over the filling.
  7. Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and sprinkle it over the top of the dough.
  8. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
  9. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Ensure your cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing for a smoother filling. Let the bars cool before slicing for cleaner cuts.
