Description

Indulgent and easy-to-make Oreo Truffles that mix the crunchy texture of Oreos with creamy cream cheese, coated in rich chocolate.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz melting chocolate or chocolate chips
  • Toppings (crushed nuts, sprinkles, or caramel drizzle)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos in a zip-lock bag or food processor until fine.
  2. Mix the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Form small balls of the mixture and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  6. Coat each truffle in the melted chocolate and place back on parchment paper.
  7. Decorate with your chosen toppings before the chocolate hardens.
  8. Chill again for 15 to 20 minutes until the chocolate sets.

Notes

Ensure your cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing, and avoid overheating the chocolate while melting.
