Description

Delightful brownies featuring a rich, velvety white chocolate swirl and the earthy flavor of matcha.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Matcha Powder
  • 1 cup White Chocolate Chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, then let it cool slightly.
  3. Add the granulated and brown sugar to the melted butter, stirring until glossy and smooth.
  4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, whisking vigorously after each. Then stir in the vanilla.
  5. Sift together the flour and matcha powder, then gently fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and evenly distribute it.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then on a wire rack before slicing.
  10. Enjoy! Serve warm, optionally with ice cream.

Notes

For an added touch, sprinkle sea salt on top before serving.
