Description

Deliciously fudgy brownies infused with matcha for a unique twist on a classic dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet or Dark Chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Butter (or Coconut Oil for dairy-free)
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour (or Gluten-Free Flour)
  • 2 tablespoons Matcha Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the chocolate and butter together in a medium bowl over a double boiler or in the microwave.
  3. Stir in both granulated and brown sugar until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  5. Sift in the flour and matcha powder, then gently fold until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

For extra fudginess, avoid overbaking and let the brownies cool before cutting.
