Ingredients

- 1 cup Semi-Sweet or Dark Chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup Butter (or Coconut Oil for dairy-free)
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 3 large Eggs
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour (or Gluten-Free Flour)
- 2 tablespoons Matcha Powder
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the chocolate and butter together in a medium bowl over a double boiler or in the microwave.
- Stir in both granulated and brown sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
- Sift in the flour and matcha powder, then gently fold until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
For extra fudginess, avoid overbaking and let the brownies cool before cutting.
