Description

Indulgent Lotus Biscoff Cinnamon Rolls combining warm cinnamon flavors with caramel undertones of Lotus Biscoff spread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Lotus Biscoff spread
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough: Warm the milk until slightly lukewarm and stir in the yeast. Let sit for about 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Mix the ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Pour in the yeast mixture, beaten egg, and melted butter. Mix until the dough comes together.
  3. Knead the dough: Transfer onto a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size, about 60 minutes.
  4. Make the filling: Roll the dough out on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon, and swirl in the Lotus Biscoff spread.
  5. Roll it up: Tightly roll the dough into a log from the long edge, pinch seams to seal, and cut into 12 equal sections.
  6. Second rise: Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes until puffy.
  7. Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden and fragrant.
  8. Prepare the glaze: Whisk together powdered sugar and a splash of milk until smooth. Optionally add a spoonful of biscoff spread.
  9. Serve and enjoy: Drizzle the glaze over warm rolls and enjoy fresh or even the next day!

Notes

Ensure yeast is fresh and bubbly for best results. For a dairy-free version, substitute almond or oat milk.
