Description

Delightfully sweet and salty Homemade Kettle Corn that’s perfect for family movie nights and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup popcorn kernels
  • 3 tablespoons oil (coconut or vegetable)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients and ensure you have everything ready.
  2. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat until hot.
  3. Add the popcorn kernels, cover with a lid, and give it a shake.
  4. Cook the popcorn, shaking the pot occasionally, until popping slows.
  5. Remove from heat, sprinkle with sugar, cover, and shake again.
  6. Add salt to taste and toss gently.
  7. Cool slightly before serving in a large bowl.

Notes

Always pop popcorn over medium heat to avoid burning the sugar. Allow cooling to let sugar crisp up properly.
