Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: Mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter and sugar. Press it into a 9-inch pie plate, then bake until golden brown, about 10-12 minutes. Let it cool completely.
  2. Make the filling: In a mixing bowl, beat together the butter and granulated sugar until fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Add in the cocoa powder and mix well.
  3. Incorporate the eggs: Add each egg one at a time, beating well after each addition for a smooth texture.
  4. Flavor it up: Stir in the vanilla extract to enhance the taste.
  5. Whip the cream: In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold it into the chocolate mixture.
  6. Pour the filling into the cooled crust and smooth the top. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
  7. Final touch: Whip more cream to top the pie when serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can substitute dark chocolate for cocoa powder. Let the pie chill properly for the best texture.
