Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Mix together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the flour and salt, mixing until it forms a crumbly dough.
  5. Shape into a log or press into a square pan and chill for 30 minutes.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden, then cool on a wire rack.
  7. Melt chocolate until smooth.
  8. Dip half of each cookie into the melted chocolate and let excess drip off.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to set the chocolate.
