A warm and comforting apple spice dump cake that is simple to prepare and perfect for family gatherings.

- 4 cups Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples, diced
- 1 box yellow or spice cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish by greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
- Layer the diced apples in the bottom of the dish and sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar over them.
- Add the dry cake mix evenly over the apple layer.
- Melt the butter and pour it over the cake mix layer.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
Notes
Serve with vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel for extra indulgence. This cake can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
