Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (or almond extract)
- ½ cup milk (or almond/oat milk)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl; set aside.
- Beat unsalted butter and granulated sugar until fluffy and pale.
- Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract; mix well.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients, alternating with milk, until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into the cupcake tins, filling each halfway.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely before frosting with your choice of frosting.
