Description
Delightful Oreo balls coated in rich chocolate, perfect for sharing on Valentine’s Day.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package Oreo cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 8 oz chocolate for coating (dark, milk, or white)
- Sprinkles or toppings (heart-shaped sprinkles, coconut flakes, or crushed nuts)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreos in a food processor or zip-top bag until fine crumbs are formed.
- Mix in softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Form the mixture into balls, about 1 tablespoon each, and place on a lined baking sheet.
- Chill the balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second increments until smooth.
- Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
- Decorate with sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet.
- Chill again until set, or for about 15 minutes in the fridge.
- Serve once hardened and enjoy!
Notes
These treats can be frozen for about a month; store them in a single layer to prevent sticking together. Adjust flavors with flavored Oreos or add peppermint extract for a unique twist.
