- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Prepare your pan: Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, letting the edges overhang for easy removal later.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
- Add the semisweet chocolate chips and condensed milk, stirring until smooth and melted.
- Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt. Let cool slightly before pouring half into the prepared baking dish.
- Blend fresh strawberries in a food processor until smooth puree forms.
- Pour dollops of the strawberry mixture onto the chocolate layer in the pan.
- Swirl the strawberry puree into the chocolate fudge using a knife or skewer, being careful not to overmix.
- Pour the remaining chocolate fudge over the strawberry layer and spread it evenly.
- Decorate with a few small dollops of strawberry puree.
- Refrigerate the fudge for at least two hours, until set.
- Lift out of the pan using parchment paper and cut into squares.
- Enjoy chilled or at room temperature!
Notes
For variations, use dark chocolate for a richer flavor or replace strawberries with raspberries for a different twist. Dairy-free options are available by substituting with coconut products.
