- 1 cup milk (full-fat or dairy-free)
- 1 tablespoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Mix Greek yogurt, self-rising flour, and protein powder in a large bowl until fully combined.
- Adjust with a splash of milk if needed to ensure a soft, pliable dough.
- Knead the dough gently for about a minute on a floured surface.
- Divide the dough into equal portions, roll into balls, and shape into bagels.
- Boil water in a large pot and carefully drop in the bagels, cooking for 30 seconds on each side.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the boiled bagels for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Whisk together milk, turmeric, ground ginger, honey, and black pepper in a saucepan over low heat until warmed.
- Serve the bagels with the warm golden milk for dipping.
