Ingredients

  • 1 French or Italian loaf
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley or chives
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the loaf by slicing it in a crisscross pattern without cutting all the way through.
  3. Mix the shredded cheese, minced garlic, chopped herbs, and melted butter in a bowl.
  4. Stuff the cheese mixture generously into the crevices of the bread.
  5. Wrap the stuffed loaf in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes.
  7. Unwrap the bread and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve warm after letting it cool for a few minutes.
