Sweet and smoky Honey Chipotle Chicken Wings that are perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Chicken Wings
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 23 Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep the Oven or Grill: Preheat your oven to 425°F or prepare your outdoor grill for indirect cooking.
  2. Make the Marinade: In a bowl, mix together honey, minced chipotle peppers, garlic, lime juice, paprika, salt, and pepper until combined.
  3. Coat the Wings: Place the chicken wings in a large bowl and pour the marinade over them. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
  4. Marinate: Let the wings marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours in the fridge) for the flavors to meld.
  5. Cook the Wings: Arrange the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for baking or directly on the grill using indirect heat. Bake or grill for about 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Glaze for Extra Flavor: For the last 10 minutes of cooking, brush additional honey-chipotle marinade on the wings for that glossy finish.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Once they’re perfectly cooked and have a lovely char, serve with fresh lime wedges and your favorite dipping sauces.
