Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 medium Fresh Oranges (zested and juiced)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the oranges: Zest and juice the oranges, straining the juice to remove seeds.
  2. Mix the base: Combine orange juice, heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Taste for sweetness and adjust if necessary.
  4. Churn the mixture in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions for about 20-25 minutes.
  5. Transfer the churned ice cream into a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
  6. Serve by letting the ice cream sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before scooping.

Notes

For added flair, mix in chopped candied ginger or chocolate chips during the last minutes of churning. Garnish with a sprig of mint for a beautiful presentation.
