- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken tenders
- 2 cups traditional pretzels, crushed
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup Buffalo sauce
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken: marinate chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- Crush the pretzels in a resealable bag until they are coarse crumbs.
- Mix the crushed pretzels with spices in a bowl.
- Coat each marinated chicken tender in the pretzel crumb mixture.
- Fry in hot oil or bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for a healthier option.
- Make the sauce by mixing ranch dressing and Buffalo sauce together.
- Serve the tenders with extra Buffalo ranch sauce on the side.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with tofu or portobello mushrooms.
