- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2–3 jalapeños, diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp cumin (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the chicken in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown and cooked through (about 6-7 minutes each side), then shred.
- Make the creamy sauce by combining cream cheese, sour cream, and half of the cheddar cheese in the skillet; stir until combined.
- Fold in diced jalapeños and shredded chicken until well coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For a lighter option, swap sour cream with Greek yogurt. Adjust seasonings according to your taste preference.
