Description

Delicious meatballs with a festive cranberry glaze, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix the ground meat, breadcrumbs, garlic, herbs, egg, and seasonings in a large bowl until combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1 to 1.5-inch balls.
  4. Bake on a baking sheet for 25-30 minutes until browned.
  5. Glaze the cooked meatballs in warmed cranberry sauce.
  6. Serve warm, either on their own or over rice.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, broil the meatballs for a couple of minutes after glazing.
