Description

A rich and airy chocolate mousse that transforms into a sweet memory shared with loved ones.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 100g granulated sugar
  • 300ml heavy cream
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate: Chop chocolate into small pieces and melt in a heatproof bowl over simmering water. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  2. Whip the cream: In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. Whisk the eggs and sugar: In another bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until fluffy and pale.
  4. Combine: Gently fold melted chocolate into egg mixture, then fold in whipped cream until just incorporated.
  5. Chill: Spoon mixture into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes.
  6. Serve: Add whipped cream or berries on top before serving.

Notes

Ensure the chocolate is not too hot to avoid cooking the eggs. Do not over-whip the cream.
