- 1 egg, beaten
- 4 burger buns

- Avocado or slaw, for topping
Instructions
- Combine the ground chicken with minced garlic, ginger, and teriyaki sauce in a large bowl.
- Add breadcrumbs and a beaten egg, mixing well until combined.
- Form the mixture into equal-sized patties, avoiding overworking the meat.
- Cover the patties with additional teriyaki sauce and marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
- Cook the patties on the grill for 5-7 minutes on one side, then flip and continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Toast the burger buns on the grill in the last minute of cooking.
- Assemble the burgers by adding a patty to each bun, topping with veggies and additional teriyaki sauce.
- Serve warm with a side of fries or cucumber salad.
Notes
