Description

Delightful, melt-in-your-mouth cookies made with buttery goodness and toasted pecans, dusted in powdered sugar.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and mix.
  4. Gradually add the all-purpose flour and pinch of salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped, toasted pecans.
  6. Form the dough into small balls, about one inch in diameter.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden on the bottom.
  8. Cool for 5 minutes and then roll in powdered sugar.
  9. Dust again when completely cool for a snowy finish.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute with vegan butter or coconut oil. You can also use almond flour for a nutty twist.
