Description

Ingredients

  • Bratwurst (variety of choice)
  • Slider Buns (soft, buttery)
  • Onions (sweet or red)
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or thyme)
  • Mustard, relish, or BBQ sauce
  • Sliced pickles or jalapeños (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add oil. Place bratwurst in the skillet and cook for 7-10 minutes, turning occasionally until browned.
  2. Slice onions and sauté them in a separate pan with butter over low heat until caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Remove brats from the skillet, let them rest for a couple of minutes, then slice into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Toast slider buns in a pan or on the grill until golden.
  5. Assemble the sliders by placing brat pieces on buns, topping with sautéed onions and preferred condiments.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!
