Description

A flavorful Middle Eastern dish made of beef infused with aromatic spices and herbs, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix the ground beef, parsley, mint, onion, garlic powder, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well incorporated.
  3. Shape the mixture into oval-shaped patties or logs, about two inches long, and place them on a lined baking tray.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, or until browned and cooked through.
  5. Serve with tzatziki, salads, or wrapped in pita.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for better flavor melding. Aim for an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C) for ground beef.
