- 1 package of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 200g pepperoni slices
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese (or cheddar/provolone)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or oregano
- 1 clove garlic (fresh or powder, to taste)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Layer a thin layer of olive oil or melted butter, then add cheese and pepperoni slices.
- Roll the dough tightly from one edge to form a log.
- Slice into 1-inch thick pieces and place cut-side up on a greased baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with olive oil or melted butter and sprinkle with cheese or herbs.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving with marinara sauce.
Notes
Allow the rolls to cool a few minutes after baking to avoid burning your mouth on the cheese.
