- ½ cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and baking powder in a bowl and set aside.
- Beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until combined.
- Fold in the peanut butter until you have a beautiful swirl.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set.
- Cool on sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top just after baking for an enhanced flavor.
