Description
Delicious smoky BBQ sliders perfect for gatherings and summer evenings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef (or pulled pork, or lean ground turkey)
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (smoky flavored)
- 8 slider buns
- Fresh lettuce, for topping
- 1 tomato, sliced, for topping
- 1 cup creamy coleslaw, for topping
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, optional
Instructions
- Prepare your meat: In a skillet over medium heat, brown your ground beef (or alternative) until cooked through. Drain off any excess fat.
- Mix in seasonings: Stir in your barbecue sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and any preferred spices. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully.
- To assemble: Toast your buns lightly for added texture. Load them with the smoky mixture, then layer with your favorite toppings.
- Serve warm: I recommend serving with a side of crispy sweet potato fries or a fresh garden salad to balance out the richness of the sliders.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute meat with sautéed mushrooms or jackfruit. Adjust spices and toppings according to your preference.
