Description

Deliciously rich and chewy cookies made with brown butter and chocolate chips, perfect for sharing and evoking nostalgia.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl before gradually mixing it into the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips gently with a spatula.
  6. Scoop dollops of cookie dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are slightly golden.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for a couple of minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking for chewier cookies. Don’t forget a sprinkle of sea salt on top for added flavor.
