- 1 cup Unsalted Butter
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 2 cups Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl before gradually mixing it into the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently with a spatula.
- Scoop dollops of cookie dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are slightly golden.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a couple of minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking for chewier cookies. Don’t forget a sprinkle of sea salt on top for added flavor.
