- 1 Butterball turkey breast (skin-on, bone-in)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
- 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 teaspoons fresh sage, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, whole
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 lemon, halved
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Prep the turkey by thawing and patting it dry with paper towels.
- Rub the turkey breast with olive oil or melted butter, followed by salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Add whole garlic cloves and squeeze lemon over the breast.
- Transfer the turkey breast to a roasting pan and roast for 1.5 to 2 hours until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Rest the turkey for 15-30 minutes before carving.
- Carve and serve with your favorite sides.
Notes
For extra crispy skin, cover the turkey loosely with aluminum foil while roasting if it browns too quickly. Uncover for the last 20-30 minutes for a golden finish.
