Description

A refreshing and fruity holiday drink that combines white wine, fresh fruits, and a hint of spices, perfect for festive gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 2 Granny Smith apples, cored and sliced
  • 2 oranges, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • 1/2 cup brandy or elderflower liqueur
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Wash the fruits thoroughly. Core and slice the apples; peel and thinly slice the oranges.
  2. Combine the sliced fruits, cinnamon sticks, and the white wine in a large pitcher. Add the brandy or elderflower liqueur, if using, and stir gently.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Add the sparkling water and mint leaves just before serving, stirring gently to combine.
  5. Fill glasses with ice, pour in the sangria, and garnish with additional mint leaves and a slice of fruit.

Notes

Allowing the sangria to chill for at least two hours enhances its flavor. Use fresh ingredients for the best results.
