Ingredients

  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 1 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  5. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until combined.
  6. Incorporate the orange zest and juice into the mixture.
  7. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet until just mixed.
  8. Fold in the dried cranberries.
  9. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheets.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
  11. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
