Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Cream the butter and powdered sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes with an electric mixer.
  3. Add vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture and mix until well incorporated.
  4. Sift together the all-purpose flour and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the creamed butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped pecans, incorporating them evenly throughout the dough.
  7. Scoop about a tablespoon of dough and roll it into a ball. Place each ball on the baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the bottoms are lightly golden.
  9. Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
  10. Dust generously with powdered sugar once cooled and enjoy!
