Ingredients
- Tart crust (store-bought or homemade)
- Fresh strawberries
- Pistachios (raw or roasted)
- Cream cheese
- Whipped cream
- Sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Flour
- Butter
- Egg yolk
- Cold water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). If you’re using a store-bought crust, skip this step.
- Blend flour, sugar, and butter until crumbly. Add egg yolk and cold water until it forms a dough.
- Press the dough into a tart pan and bake for 20 minutes until golden.
- Whisk cream cheese in a chilled bowl until smooth and fluffy. Fold in sugar and vanilla extract.
- Arrange strawberries evenly over the cooled tart crust.
- Spread cream cheese mixture over the strawberries, then chill for at least 2 hours.
- Serve with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pistachios.
Notes
Blind bake the crust to avoid a soggy bottom. Use the ripest strawberries for the best flavor.
