Ingredients

  • Tart crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Pistachios (raw or roasted)
  • Cream cheese
  • Whipped cream
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla extract
  • Flour
  • Butter
  • Egg yolk
  • Cold water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). If you’re using a store-bought crust, skip this step.
  2. Blend flour, sugar, and butter until crumbly. Add egg yolk and cold water until it forms a dough.
  3. Press the dough into a tart pan and bake for 20 minutes until golden.
  4. Whisk cream cheese in a chilled bowl until smooth and fluffy. Fold in sugar and vanilla extract.
  5. Arrange strawberries evenly over the cooled tart crust.
  6. Spread cream cheese mixture over the strawberries, then chill for at least 2 hours.
  7. Serve with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pistachios.

Notes

Blind bake the crust to avoid a soggy bottom. Use the ripest strawberries for the best flavor.
