Description

Decadent Rocky Road Brownies filled with rich chocolate, gooey marshmallows, and crunchy nuts, perfect for creating warm family memories.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or almonds)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Cream the softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
  5. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, along with the vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
  7. Fold in the mini marshmallows and chopped nuts.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For fudgier brownies, check for doneness at around 23 minutes. Drizzle caramel sauce on top for an indulgent twist.
