Ingredients

  • 5 fresh green apples (Granny Smith preferred)
  • 4 cups sparkling water
  • Honey or agave syrup (to taste)
  • Fresh mint or basil (optional)
  • Lime or lemon juice (optional splash)

Instructions

  1. Wash and core the apples, then chop them into quarters.
  2. Process the apple quarters in a juicer or blender until smooth. Strain if using a blender.
  3. In a large pitcher, mix the fresh apple juice with the sparkling water, adjusting for desired fizziness.
  4. Add sweetener and stir well; taste and adjust as needed.
  5. If desired, add fresh mint or basil and stir gently.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve over ice, garnishing with apple slices or herbs.
