- 5 fresh green apples (Granny Smith preferred)
- 4 cups sparkling water
- Honey or agave syrup (to taste)
- Fresh mint or basil (optional)
- Lime or lemon juice (optional splash)
Instructions
- Wash and core the apples, then chop them into quarters.
- Process the apple quarters in a juicer or blender until smooth. Strain if using a blender.
- In a large pitcher, mix the fresh apple juice with the sparkling water, adjusting for desired fizziness.
- Add sweetener and stir well; taste and adjust as needed.
- If desired, add fresh mint or basil and stir gently.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve over ice, garnishing with apple slices or herbs.
