Description

Delicious Buffalo-Stuffed Mushrooms that combine spicy buffalo flavors with creamy cheese, making them a perfect appetizer or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 24 fresh mushrooms (white button or cremini)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean mushrooms gently with a damp paper towel and remove stems.
  3. In a skillet, sauté the chopped mushroom stems until soft.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine sautéed stems, cream cheese, chicken, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  5. Stuff each mushroom cap with the filling and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  6. Arrange stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until mushrooms are tender and tops are golden.
  8. Let cool before serving and garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

Do not overstuff the mushrooms and watch the baking time closely to prevent them from becoming mushy.
