Description

Delicious breakfast bites featuring savory sausages wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough.


Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry or crescent roll dough
  • 8 breakfast sausage links or mini hot dogs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary or thyme
  • 1/2 cup cheese (optional; cheddar, mozzarella, or cream cheese)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry or separate the crescent roll dough into triangles.
  3. Place a sausage at the wide end of each dough triangle, sprinkle with garlic powder and herbs, and roll it up, pinching the edges to seal.
  4. If adding cheese, place a strip inside the dough before rolling the sausage.
  5. Brush the tops with melted butter.
  6. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffy.
  7. Let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For best results, don’t overcrowd the baking sheet, and experiment with different dipping sauces.
