Ingredients

- 1 package puff pastry or crescent roll dough
- 8 breakfast sausage links or mini hot dogs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary or thyme
- 1/2 cup cheese (optional; cheddar, mozzarella, or cream cheese)
- 1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry or separate the crescent roll dough into triangles.
- Place a sausage at the wide end of each dough triangle, sprinkle with garlic powder and herbs, and roll it up, pinching the edges to seal.
- If adding cheese, place a strip inside the dough before rolling the sausage.
- Brush the tops with melted butter.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffy.
- Let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For best results, don’t overcrowd the baking sheet, and experiment with different dipping sauces.
