Instructions
- Rinse and sort the cranberries, discarding any bruised ones.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries and a few tablespoons of water over medium heat and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a large bowl, beat the room temperature butter until light and creamy.
- Gradually add in honey and vanilla extract, mixing until well-combined.
- Once the cranberries have cooled slightly, fold them gently into the butter mixture.
- Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors.
- Transfer to a decorative jar and serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, use vegan butter. Maple syrup can replace honey for a vegan alternative.
