Description

A delightful blend of spicy Cajun flavors and sweet honey butter glaze, perfect for family gatherings or quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Salmon fillets (fresh with skin on)
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 Lemon (juiced)
  • Fresh herbs (Parsley or Chives, for garnish)
  • Olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, then stir in honey and minced garlic, followed by Cajun seasoning. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once hot, place salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until crispy. Flip and spoon honey butter over the top, cooking for another 4-5 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
  4. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon just before removing from heat.
  5. Plate the salmon, drizzling any remaining honey butter on top and garnish with fresh herbs.

Notes

Serve with sautéed greens and asparagus for a complete meal. Can substitute skinless salmon or honey with maple syrup.
