A quick and delightful dish featuring salmon glazed with a sweet and savory brown sugar soy sauce marinade, perfect for family dinners.

- 4 Salmon Fillets
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- Green Onions, sliced for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Mix until sugar dissolves.
- Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and marinate with the mixture for 10 minutes.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Optionally, add a splash of vegetable oil.
- Place salmon skin-side down in the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes.
- Baste salmon with half of the reserved marinade and cook until bubbling.
- Flip salmon, pour remaining marinade over top, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until done.
- Serve garnished with sliced green onions.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, firm tofu can be used as a substitute for salmon. Pair with sautéed greens or jasmine rice.
