- 1 box Red Velvet Cake Mix
- 1 stick Unsalted Butter, melted
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 package (8 oz.) Full-Fat Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 box (16 oz.) Powdered Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and 2 eggs until smooth.
- Spread the cake batter into the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1 egg, and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the red velvet layer without blending.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until slightly jiggly in the center.
- Let the cake cool for at least an hour before serving.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
